High Tea Reservation and Cancellation Policy
$17.50 per person, regardless of age, plus tax and 20% gratuity.
The final bill will be based off of the guest count specified at the time of booking unless we receive an updated headcount with at least 10 days notice for large parties and 48 hours for small parties. Changes must be made by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the date of the party, the name on the reservation, and the final headcount. Changes are not official until you receive a confirmation email from a member of our staff.
For parties of 8 or more, a non-refundable 50% deposit must be made. The deposit is deducted from the party's final balance. The deposit must be made to secure your reservation.
The deposit will be charged at the time that the reservation is made through our online invoice system. Reservations for 8 or more will not be secured until deposit is paid.
The remaining balance will be charged through our online invoice system ten days prior to the party.
High Tea Menu and Special Requests
Our High Tea menu is available online; however, the menu changes daily depending on availability. No substitutions will be made. While our entire menu is vegetarian, we are not able to accommodate other dietary needs, such as vegan or gluten-free specifications.
Arrival and Early Set Up
High Tea party guests are allowed to add small table decor during their allotted High Tea times. As the tea service requires a full table setting,
we kindly request small table decorations only, and you remove decorations at end of the tea. We put a lot of effort into creating a fun and fanciful environment for all of our guests. Because of this, we don't allow for large displays or extra hanging decor in the shop.
Reservation Duration and Seating
All parties must be completed within two hours from the scheduled start time. Food will be served promptly ten minutes after the scheduled reservation time, regardless of whether the entire party is seated or not, in order to give your party ample time to eat and enjoy the experience.
Outside Food and Drink
No outside food or drinks allowed.
Reservation Cancellation/Editing Policy
Please understand that we are happy to book months in advance, but cancellations seriously affect the revenue of our small neighborhood business.
The deposit for parties of 8+ is nonrefundable, but is applied towards your total for kept reservations.
For parties of 7 or fewer, there is a $10 cancellation fee if cancelled within 72 hours of reservation.
The menu is baked to order and requires that we bring in extra staff, so the reservation policy is strictly enforced.
Dr. Bombay's is not responsible for any accident or injury incurred during the tea service.
